What is the Eastern Disability Services Network ?

The Eastern Disability Services Network (EDSN) brings together a range of disability services in the Eastern Region of Melbourne. The network aims to take a lead role in moving the disability sector forward, continuing the disability reform agenda and the reorientation of service provision. EDSN members have responsibility for strategic development (CEOs, General Managers) and program management (Program managers) in their organisations.

The objectives of the EDSN focus on leadership, business capacity and self directedness

To provide a forum for building partnerships, learning, networking and support to the members.

To advocate, lobby, influence, and give feedback on current and future policy directions

To promote and share ethical business principles and practices to enhance capacity, development and sustainability.

To create linkage with other relevant statewide forums for sharing, learning and advocacy

EDSN Steering Committee

The role of the Steering Committee is to

facilitate, organise and chair network meetings and events

Provide the opportunity to share and communicate key issues to the region
