The EDSN brings people together to deepen their understanding of how to improve their services Business Capacity. This is achieved through cooperation, technical learning and sharing of knowledge with the working as a collegial team of people creating this opportunity.

Purpose of EDSN

EDSN act as a lead regional network for disability service providers in the Eastern Region. The Network provides leadership and the opportunity to discuss, influence and address sector issues.

Events

The Network aims to provide a forum for discussion and information exchange in relation to the provision of disability services. The EDSN hold 3 events each year. Forum/event topics are focused on the EDSN workplan. Special events are organised to address member and / or sector issues.

Membership

The EDSN’s membership comprises Senior Managers of Disability Services in eastern metropolitan Melbourne. EDSN Membership is open to all disability providers and direct partners within eastern region of Melbourne.

EDSN Roles

Be a lead regional Network: Positioning the Network to cohesively bring the together members of the EDSN, and other networks of the region to widely communicate the work and outcomes of forums and projects.
To work as an agent of Change: Selectively influencing and advocating to government on disability related policy
