Purpose of EDSN
EDSN is act as a lead regional network for disability service providers in the Eastern Metropolitan Region. The Network provides leadership and the opportunity to discuss, influence and address sector issues.
The Network aims to provide a forum for discussion and information exchange in relation to the provision of disability services. The EDSN holds four forum each year. Forum topics are focused on the EDSN workplan. Special events are organised to address member and / or sector issues.
The EDSN’s membership comprises CEO’s and Senior Managers of Disability Services in eastern metropolitan Melbourne. EDSN Membership is open to all disability providers and direct partners within eastern region of Melbourne.
Be a lead regional Network: Positioning the Network to cohesively bring the together members of the EDSN, and other networks of the region to widely communicate the work and outcomes of forums and projects.
To work as an agent of Change: Selectively influencing and advocating to government on disability related policy
EDSN UPCOMING EVENT 2017
FORUM 3, 14th September 2017. EDSN have two NDIS Transition Experiences from 2 different organisations for you along with DHHS and NDS Sector Updates. Hear from representatives from St John of God Accord on their experience having been through transition and hear from Onemda on their experience currently going through transition. Our network have told us they want to know more and we offer these experiences to you first hand.
